1. How can I pay for NKProds software? What methods are available and how secure is the process?

All NKProds products are sold through Avangate. 2. Why aren't all NKProds products free anymore?

A lot of work has been invested into these products, a lot of resources and man power in order to constantly improve them. Also consider the fact that NKProds needs a domain and a hosting service and free ones cannot offer quality so we have to pay for this services too.

Also you can help us by sending your feedback regarding NKProds products. 4. What happens when I buy a NKProds Product?

To buy a NKProds product just go to this page and click the buy link for the product and\or license type you want to purchase. After you enter your details, including a credit card number(or PayPal, check and other), and the transaction has completed you will receive a link (valid for 3 days or more depending whether or not you have also bought the Extended Download service that preserves the link for a longer period of time) from where you can download the full version (very small download <1MB) you ordered. You will also receive an email containing this link and a serial number for the product that is needed to activate it. After you download the PRO version and install it you are prompted to enter a serial number. Here just enter your full name and the serial number received in the mail.

After buying a product you will benefit from support from NKProds developers, either on the Support Forum or by email. You will also receive updates for purchased products based on the license type you have purchased.

5. Why isn't there a money back guarantee?

NKProds doesn't have a money back quarantee because of the nature of our products. When you buy one of our products you get a download which you install and run. If you request your money back for what ever reason, we would give you your money back but you would still get to use our software because we cannot block it. So you get both your money back and keep our software and can use it with no limitation.

Because some people may tend to abuse this policy we do not offer a money back quarantee.

1. I am receiving this error message when I am trying to install or to open nCleaner: "This application has failed to start because framedyn.dll was not found"

The problem you are having is a system problem.
Here are 2 possible solutions to your problem. The second solution is more likely to be the right one for your problem:


Solution1: Replace the Framedyn.dll File

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type %systemroot%\system32\dllcache, and then click OK.
3. Right-click framedyn.dll, and then click Copy on the shortcut menu that appears.
4. Click Start, and then click Run.
5. In the Open box, type %systemroot%\system32\wbem, and then click OK.
6. On the Edit menu, click Paste. If you are prompted to replace the existing file, click Yes.



Solution2: Verify System Variables

1. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu that appears. If you receive the following error message, click OK: rundll32.exe - Unable To Locate Component

This application has failed to start because framedyn.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
2. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
3. Click Environment Variables.
4. Under System variables, click Path, and then click Edit.

NOTE: If no Path variable is listed, click New. In the Variable name box, type Path.
5. In the Variable value box, type the following:
%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\wbem
6. Click OK three times (each time that you have the option).

 

2. nCleaner's interface is all scrambled, some buttons don't work or are outside the window, and a part of the window is transparent

The problem has to do with the font size (DPI size) for your system.
nCleaner's interface looks best on the normal DPI size of 96 dpi.
To fix this problem all you have to do is to change the font size to a Normal state of 96 dpi.
To do so open the Control Panel, go to Display, Settings tab, click on the Advanced button at bottom of the window, General tab, and find the drop down box that selects the DPI setting and chose the value 'Normal size (96 DPI)' then click OK twice. This may require a system restart in order for the settings to be applied and the fonts might seem smaller than what you were used to but it will fix the problems regarding nCleaner's display.

 

2. I installed nCleaner but I am unable to run the program. I am getting an error stating that ncleaner.exe unable to locate dynamic link library srclient.dll

Srclient.dll file that you specify is the dll needed for System Restore in Windows XP. If you don't have it I presume you are using Windows 2000.
If so, please note nCleaner is no longer supporting Win2000.
We suggest upgrading to Windows XP.

 

3. Nothing of the above. I am having a problem with nCleaner that is not listed above.

Allows one independent software developer to use nBinder PRO. This license is provided only to independent software developers, not for companies. Purchase a single developer license only if you are not affiliated with any company or organization. This license type is for a single person (individual) use only. If you plan to use nBinder for a company, or any other type of organization you must choose and buy the company license, not the single developer license.

This license type include only minor updates (for example: 2.x but not 3.0) for the version you have bought, but no new major versions. Both licenses include free support from NKProds.
